I'm holding a design contest because I can't seem to find the right design for myself at the moment ;w; So I figured, what better way to find an awesome design AND get new characters than holding a contest~?

RULES:

NO linearts; artwork must be your own

NO tracing or stealing; if I see any of this, you will be excused from the contest. Designs and everything must be your own.

Please no traditional~ Unless you can put a color palette on the artwork so I know what colors to use~ And if it is traditional, the image MUST be very clear~

A hat for Vana (Contest)Sooo I've thought about this for a while and I might regret it soon but I really want to do a small contest. x) No, I haven't forgotten about the winners of the previous one, I will try to get them done during summer break. But I need help with something so why not make it a small contest?

I don't know if people are gonna be interested, but if not, oh well, less work for me!

Soo what is it about? Well, as you can guess, it's about my fursona

again. As you can see on her ref, Vana has this hat she likes to wear. Vana likes hats.
BUT there's a problem. In summer it can get quite hot. Vana can't stand heat too well in general, and she certainly can't wear her hat then. But it'd be nice if she could wear a hat that'd keep her head cool and keep the sun out of her eyes (she isn't too fond of wearing sunglasses for too long).
So I gave Vana this hat.

Thing is, the hat's design is quite bland and boring, and I cannot come up with an

This contest is YOU creating colors/design for this little creature here:

You can color it in any which way you like. : D
you can keep it simple with just a few colors, or complex with a lot of colors! It's totally up to you!!
Be creative, I love creativity and uniqueness! I love art that stands out!
_-_I will use the winning (or my favorite) design as my OC, giving you credit for the design C8
Here are some things I like, just for ideas and examples and such :>
-Nature
-Neon colors
-Natural colors (browns, reds, ect.)
-White, black, grey
-Soft colors
-Foods,
-It could be animal colored, like fish, birds, cats, based on things like that!
-Use your imagination!

HEINZ CONTEST

Time for a contest, yallz!
Older watchers may recall my comic Ritzkrieg, and if you don't know of it, you can check that out here.  The Heinz comics were initially things I did on the side for fun, but now it has grown into a series of its own!  Those comics can be found here on dA or at Smackjeeves.  This series focuses on the dog, Heinz, in Ritzkrieg, who's goal to is to be with Fredrich.  Unfortunately, all his attempts to get close are thwarted or are merely fantasies!
The idea of this contest will be to draw your original character (human, animal, creature, etc.) with Heinz or one of the other four main characters from Ritzkrieg!  You can make it in the form of a comic, single illustration, or

I felt like this should be shared....SO
Im known at school for having some pretty weird dreams (ex. I had a dream that one of our teachers came to school with a gun and shot me and a few other friends o.o")
But one of my latest dreams takes the cake
SO Im going to skip the beginning just because it's pretty weird XD

I was at my grandmas house and I had two friends over (who are imaginary...I mean I've never seen anyone like those guys in my life XD)
And One of them had gone upstairs (using the fancy elevator that was now installed into my grandmas house lolz It looks like the kind of elevator you'd see in a science lab in a movie ;w

So My other friend had waited for me so I'd know where we were going
So we went to the elevator and got in and where waiting for out floor.

May i ask you a question. How do you make image previews on flash. I made a flash and added and picture for it but theres no category in the flash selection that will upload a flash AND a picture with it.

Oh~ I had to do some poking around myself to try to find a place where I can put my preview image in ^U^

In the corner of the box where your image is, there will be the little edit button
click on that and a list will drop down and one of the options will be to "change you preview image"
click that and upload your preview image~!
